Nasir al-Mulk Mosque (Pink Mosque)

Known as the Pink Mosque (Masjid-e Souri) for its rose-tinted exterior tiles, this Qajar-era mosque in Shiraz is one of Iran's most photogenic buildings. Built between 1876 and 1888 under the order of Mirza Hasan Ali Nasir ol-Molk, it features thousands of coloured glass panes that flood the front prayer hall (shabestan) with spectacular rainbow light in the early morning. The interior displays five kashikari (tile) niches and elaborate plasterwork combining floral, arabesque, and geometric motifs.
